Iran Refining Capacity Recovery Expected Within Two Months

TEHRAN: (Web Desk) – Iran’s Deputy Oil Minister, Mohammad Sadeq Azimfar, has stated that oil refining capacity damaged during recent US and Israeli strikes is expected to recover to around 70–80 percent within the next two months. Speaking to Iranian media, he expressed optimism that parts of the Lavan refinery could resume operations within approximately 10 days.

Meanwhile, Ebrahim Azizi, while talking to Russian media, revealed that Iran is planning to introduce a new control system in the Strait of Hormuz. Under this system, ships passing through the vital route may be required to pay a toll. He emphasized that Iran intends to manage and control the strait in line with its national interests, adding that the country cannot rely on the United States.
