Iran Says No to US Talks But Warns Strait of Hormuz Could Be Next

Iran Reject Ceasfire – (Web Desk) – Iran’s top diplomat, Abbas Araghchi, spoke to NBC News. He said Iran is not asking the US for a ceasefire. He also said they are not looking to negotiate.

He explained that they have tried talks with the US twice before. Both times, he said, the US attacked them while they were talking.

Araghchi also said Iran has no plans to close the Strait of Hormuz. At least not right now.

Speaking of the strategic Strait of Hormuz, Araghchi says: “We have no intention to close it right now but as the war continues, we will consider every scenario.”
