Iran Will Not Bow to US Pressure: Ghalibaf

TEHRAN: (News Desk) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that its naval and air forces carried out attacks on 85 locations associated with US facilities in the region through a coordinated missile and drone operation.

According to a statement issued by the IRGC, the targets included the US Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain and Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait.

The IRGC described the operation as an “initial response” to what it called violations of the ceasefire and the Islamabad Agreement by the United States.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Criticizes US Actions, Says Iran Will Not Bow

Iran’s chief negotiator and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has responded to US attacks, saying that the era of “bullying and extortion” is over and that Iran will not surrender.

Ghalibaf accused the United States of serious violations of the memorandum of understanding, alleging that US strikes on Iran, renewed restrictions on Iranian oil exports, threats of further attacks, alleged violations of Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz, and continued Israeli attacks against Lebanon were all breaches of the agreement.

He said Iran would continue to defend its national interests and respond to actions it considers violations of its sovereignty.
