Iran Crowned Champions at World Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships in Bulgaria

Bulgaria: In a proud moment for Iranian sports, the Islamic Republic of Iran has clinched the championship title at the World Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships held in Bulgaria. The victory marks Iran’s sixth world title in this prestigious competition.

Ambassador of Iran to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, shared the celebratory news on social media, congratulating the young Iranian wrestlers for their stellar performance on the global stage.

Iran’s junior team secured a total of 117 points, earning 1 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals, and showcasing the country’s enduring dominance in the sport.

“Our Young Champions have once again demonstrated the strength and legacy of Iranian Wrestling on the world stage,” the ambassador tweeted proudly.

Ambassador Moghadam also extended congratulations to Armenia and Azerbaijan, who finished second and third respectively, lauding their sportsmanship, dedication, and courage.
