Iran Condemns US Remarks, Rejects Foreign Interference
Tehran says US pressure campaign violates international law and sovereignty.
Tehran-(News Desk/X)-Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly denounced recent statements by US officials regarding Iran’s internal situation, calling them misleading and an extension of Washington’s long-standing hostility toward the Iranian nation. The Foreign Ministry said such remarks are not motivated by concern for the Iranian people but are part of the US policy of pressure, intimidation, and interference aimed at stirring unrest and instability inside Iran.

The ministry reaffirmed that under Iran’s Constitution, peaceful protests are recognized and legitimate public demands are addressed within the framework of the law. It emphasized that many of the country’s economic challenges are the direct result of what it described as an illegal economic and financial war imposed by the United States through unilateral sanctions.
Iran further accused Washington of waging a multi-layered campaign against the country, combining economic pressure with psychological operations, media misinformation, military threats, and incitement to violence—actions it said violate the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law. Recalling decades of US interference, including the 1953 coup, support for Iraq during the imposed war, recent military aggression, and sanctions, Tehran urged the United Nations and global institutions to uphold state sovereignty and prevent unlawful intervention.

The Foreign Ministry also called on the international community to recognize the humanitarian impact of US sanctions, stating they directly harm the livelihoods and basic rights of Iranians. It concluded by asserting that Iran will continue to resist foreign pressure through national unity, vigilance, and reliance on its historical and cultural identity.
