International Union of Writers Hosts First-Ever Literary Awards Conference

Writers, journalists, intellectuals, and literary figures from across the country attended the grand ceremony.

Sargodha (Raja Noor Ilahi Atif)- The International Union of Writers (IUOW) successfully held its inaugural Literary Awards Conference, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s journey to promote literature and journalism in Pakistan.

The prestigious event was attended by an array of notable personalities from the literary and journalistic communities. Chief guests included President of the Lahore Press Club, Arshad Ansari, and renowned senior journalists Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami and Asif Niswana. The conference session was presided over by IUOW Chairman, Zubair Ahmed Ansari.

Advocate Saadia Huma Sheikh, Vice President of the IUOW, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the mission and objectives of the organization, which is committed to fostering a vibrant literary culture and recognizing outstanding contributions in the field of writing and journalism.

The event was skillfully moderated by Rehana Usmani and Hoorain Faisal, who maintained a smooth and engaging flow throughout the program.
