Interior Minister orders to suspend SIMs with Expired CNICs

Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has issued orders to suspend mobile SIMs registered with expired CNICs.

Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the headquarters in Islamabad, where he chaired a meeting wherein directives were issued to establish Nadra offices nationwide following the model of Model Police Stations in Punjab.

Naqvi stated that the establishment of Model Police Stations in Punjab not only facilitated the public but also improved the image of law enforcement. He further announced the abolishment of fees for death certificates.

Moreover, Naqvi emphasized the introduction of a simplified system in collaboration with Union Council offices for obtaining birth, death, marriage, and divorce certificates. He stressed the importance of ensuring complete protection of citizens’ data.

Furthermore, he expressed plans to enhance facilities on mobile platforms and effectively utilize social media for promoting departmental initiatives.
