Inflation biggest problem in Pakistan;Rana Sana

Saad Rafique says PML-N did not stage any long marches during PPP’s tenure,

Lahore_PML-N senior leader Rana Sanaullah said on Sunday that inflation is one of the biggest problems that the country is facing.

Addressing the public gathering in Faisalabad, Sanaullah underscored the potential of the country’s youth, saying, “The youth is standing with us.”

The former interior minister urged the party workers to launch the door-to-door campaign for up to three days ahead of the upcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.

Few days back, Sanaullah said on Thursday that the social media propaganda harmed the country.

Speaking to media in Faisalabad, the former interior minister said: “The country is facing no worse situation but a challenge of whooping inflation”.

Sanaullah expressed optimism that his party will form the government in Punjab and the centre following February 8.

He said, “The masses should express confidence in the PML-N, as we will control the inflation.”

Earlier, Sanaullah said that his party will clinch over 100 seats from Punjab in the upcoming elections, slated to happen on February 8.

Speaking to PVT TV, the former interior minister said his party wants to take everybody on board after the forthcoming elections.

He fired a broadside at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, saying, ‘’The things would have been better for the PTI founder if he intended to take the opposition on board. The way the PTI founder wanted to run the country was impossible.’’

Addressing the corner meeting in Lahore, Rafique said: “Nawaz Sharif had not taken any political revenge and showed patience.”

He cited the politics of the 1980s, saying, “Both the PML and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) had made mistakes in the 1980s. Later, both parties realised that there was no need to lock horns with each other.”

“We [PML-N] did not stage any long marches during the PPP’s tenure.”

Recounting the PML-N’s previous tenure, Rafique said: “When we voted into power in 2013, Nawaz Sharif straightaway went to Banigala and invited the PTI founder to come and join hands with us.”

Few days back, Rafique said that his party does not believe in the political vendetta.

Addressing the workers’ convention in Lahore, Rafique said: “Today, the country does not need leadership that embraces hatred. The vision of the PML-N is to bring stability and prosperity to the country.”

PMLN vows to knock out poverty

“We [PML-N] have a history of ending the menace of terrorism and providing employment opportunities. Our manifesto revolves around developing the country,” Rafique said.

“The opponents are asking about the PML-N’s narrative,” he said.

Taking a jibe at the PTI founder, Rafique said: “You [PTI founder] had tried to drag the country into the civil war. We do not want such a leadership that incites the children to stand against the state institutions.”
