COLOMBO: (Web Desk) – India set a target of 176 runs for Pakistan in a crucial T20 World Cup match being played in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
After winning the toss, the Indian captain opted to bat first. Pakistan made an early breakthrough as Salman Ali Agha dismissed Abhishek Sharma for a duck in the very first over, with Shaheen Shah Afridi taking the catch.
India lost their second wicket at 88 runs when Ishan Kishan, who scored a brilliant 77 off 40 balls with 10 fours and 3 sixes, was clean bowled by Saim Ayub. The third wicket fell at 126 when Tilak Varma was trapped LBW by Saim Ayub after scoring 25. On the very next delivery, Ayub struck again, removing Hardik Pandya for a duck.

India’s fifth wicket fell at 159 as Suryakumar Yadav scored 32 before being caught off Usman Tariq’s bowling.
Pakistan made no changes to their playing XI, while India included two changes, bringing in Abhishek Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav.
Speaking at the toss, Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha said the team remained unchanged and was fully prepared for the contest against India. He added that the team’s full focus would be on the match and they were well aware of how to play on such pitches.
Pakistan’s lineup includes Salman Ali Agha (captain), Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Usman Khan, Shadab Khan, Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abrar Ahmed and Usman Tariq.
India’s team features Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Rinku Singh.
