MUMBAI: The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has expressed concern over delays in the issuance of H-1B visas to Indian citizens.
Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaswal acknowledged that the delays have caused significant problems for Indian applicants. The External Affairs Minister noted that strict screening procedures and the scrutiny of social media profiles have further complicated the visa process.
