Imran Predicts Govt’s Collapse Within Two Months

Rawalpindi(Staff Reporter);Imran Predicts Govt’s Collapse Within Two Months, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has predicted that the current government will collapse within two months, citing its deteriorating popularity and inability to address the country’s pressing issues.

“The government is plunging into quagmire, however, they [rulers] are fool and unable to understand,” he said this in an informal conversation with journalists in makeshift courtroom setup inside Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail on Thursday.

“I am predicting this from prison that this government has only two months,” the PTI founder said adding that he has enough time but the incumbent rulers are running out of time.

He expressed confidence in his position, stating, “I have a lot of time, but they are running out of time. They are fools; they don’t understand.”

The incarcerated PTI leader dismissed claims that he had issued an unconditional apology, clarifying that his remarks were only for the betterment of Pakistan. “The impression that I have apologized unconditionally is wrong. I am asking to speak only for Pakistan,” he asserted.

Addressing the ongoing investigations into the May 9, 2023 tragedy, the PTI founder vowed to apologize if evidence emerged showing the involvement of PTI members. “I will apologize if PTI workers are shown in the CCTV footage of May 9 tragedy,” he insisted.

In reference to the Al-Qadir Trust case, he hinted at the existence of a key witness who could shed light on the matter, but refrained from revealing their identity. “I will produce a witness in the Al-Qadir Trust case, but I cannot reveal the identity, otherwise a Vigo will be sent to the individual,” he said, implying the risks.

The PTI founder also rejected any notion of striking a deal with the government, declaring, “File as many cases as you want, I will not strike any deal. A deal is made by someone who has committed a crime.”

He further emphasized that if re-elections were held under the current government, his party would not accept them.

Concluding his remarks, he stated that he had not been contacted for negotiations and that all he sought was justice for the events of May 9.
