Qureshi gets interim bail in three terror cases.
Lahore,A local court in Lahore has granted interim bail to PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s two sisters in four cases till August 8, Imran’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan submitted petitions seeking interim bail in four cases related to violence and arson attack on the PML-N office. The petitions were filed through Rana Mudassar advocate. Imran’s sisters moved to the court today after their arrest warrants were issued yesterday. Both Aleema and Uzma appeared before the court. The court accepted their applications and granted them bail till August 8. The court also directed them to submit Rs100,000 surety bonds each. The next date of the case hearing was set on Aug 8 due to summer vacations in the court.

A local court in Lahore granted interim bail to PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi in three cases registered against him under terror charges till July 21, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Ijaz Ahmad Buttar on Friday heard petitions filed by former foreign minister seeking bail in three cases. Qureshi appeared before the anti-terrorism court in person. While granting him interim bail till July 21, the ATC judge directed Qureshi to join police investigation.
Earlier, the PTI vice chairman filed his bail applications in three cases registered at Model Town and Naseerabad police stations in Lahore. The cases pertained to torching a container at Kalma Chowk and arson attack on the PML-N office. While talking to media outside the court, Qureshi said that he held several meetings with PTI Chairman Imran Khan. He asked reporters ‘do not listen to rumours’. He said that an IMF delegation was meeting them and Imran would apprise them of his stance. Qureshi lamented that authorities registered three more cases against him but he got bail in these cases
