Imran Khan urged ticket holders to speed up election campaign in Lahore
Lahore: (Staff Reporter) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan urged the ticket holders from Lahore to speed up the election campaign. The ticket holders from Lahore participated in the meeting presided over by the deposed prime minister, in which issues related to the election campaign for the Punjab Assembly elections were discussed.
According to the source, Imran Khan directed the ticket holders to intensify the election campaign through rallies and door-to-door campaigns in their respective constituencies. He urged the ticket holders to spread PTI’s narrative to as many people as possible.
As per details he also directed the candidates to address the concerns of the factions in their respective constituencies to persuade them to join the election campaign. On Saturday, Imran Khan he would keep on staging rallies, starting from next week till May 14, and would not take rest until elections were held.
Furthermore addressing a pro-CJP rally at Lakshami Chowk, he said caretaker governments in Punjab and KP had lost their terms and constitutional standings adding that he would demand the courts to hold elections in KP too. “This government has brought sensitive price index to half,” he added.
Moreover he said the way Indian FM Subrahmanyam Jaishankar behaved with our FM Bilawal Bhutto [at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization moot] was “shameful for all of us”. “Mr Bhutto, do you even think before spending money on your foreign trips,” he asked.
