Imran Khan stops workers to resist ‘police operation’ as willing to arrest,

 Minar-e-Pakistan’s power show ‘referendum against violence’

Lahore_Imran Khan Wednesday stopped his party workers to show resistance against the expected ‘police operation today as he is willing to offer his arrest to avoid any bloodshed at Zaman Park.

Imran Khan addressed the nation online on Wednesday evening and prevented his activists from reacting to the possible new police operation for arresting him.

The PTI chairman said in his speech that there might be an operation in Zaman Park this evening but workers should not resist.

Imran Khan added that if they want to arrest him due to the new operation at his residence in Zaman Park, then he will agree to be arrested.

He said innocent people should not be massacred as a result of any clash with the police force. He said the fascist government is using all the tactics to run away from the elections and keep PTI out of the field.

Imran Khan expressed a fear that ‘even his own life is in danger, yet he stands’.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan said when he reached the court on hearing, the policemen were pelting stones from the roofs so they turned back from the court premises to save his lives.

The PTI chairman claimed that the IG Police Punjab has made a plan of bloodshed like Model Town as some policemen in plain cloths will join the PTI workers and kill four to five policemen conducting operation at Zaman Park.

Resultantly, the police force react and start straight firing on the PTI workers and then they will kill him like Murtaza Bhutto. He said he was informed that the plan of the operation has been done from the police officials which will be held today or tomorrow at his residence.

Public gathering at Minar-e-Pakistan will be referendum against the violence he said

Addressing a speech via video link, Mr Khan talked about the upcoming gathering of his party, saying, The PTI will stage a public gathering on Saturday at Minar-e-Pakistan.The enlightened nation will join the gathering.”

“Today I had to face the contempt of court for not managing to appear before the Islamabad High Court (IHC). I would like to urge the Chief Justice to take strict action. None of the country’s premiers has witnessed such injustice in the country’s history”, said Mr Khan.

He lamented, “They attacked Zaman Park as if there resided a terrorist. Our workers are subjected to crackdown. Never witnessed such crackdown, even in the rule of dictatorships”.

Even, during the regime of former president Pervez Musharraf, the country did not witness a crackdown like this”.

He claimed the PTI workers were being nabbed in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Taking a jibe at the political opponents, Mr Khan claimed, “Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari are international criminals”.

He went on to say, “Maybe they would carry operation again today at any time, as they have a plan of carry out the operation in Zaman Park. Plan was made to assassinate me like Murtaza Bhutto. I urge the workers to remain peaceful at any cost”.
