Imran Khan Rejects Negotiations Again, Rules Out Any Retreat from His Stance
PTI to Follow Imran Khan’s Protest Directives: Sheikh Waqas Akram
Islamabad: The latest statement issued by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan on social media platform X has effectively rejected, once again, the proposal for negotiations put forward by Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
According to a private television channel, citing sources close to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, meaningful negotiations with PTI are not possible unless the party expresses remorse or offers an apology for the events of May 9 and for the anti-military campaign allegedly carried out through PTI’s social media platforms.

In his statement, Imran Khan categorically said that he would not retreat “even an inch” from his position and urged the public to come out and protest for their rights.
Meanwhile, PTI Secretary Information Sheikh Waqas Akram stated that since the policy of the protest movement has been issued directly by Imran Khan, it will be implemented accordingly. He emphasized that the party leadership is bound to follow the latest directives of the PTI founder.
Sheikh Waqas added that Mahmood Khan Achakzai may continue his political activities, including efforts for dialogue; however, PTI’s official stance will remain aligned with Imran Khan’s instructions.
He further revealed that Imran Khan has directed the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to begin preparations for a protest movement aimed at ensuring the rule of law and the supremacy of the Constitution.
