Imran Khan Queries Bail Conditions for Sisters
Rawalpindi-(Special Correspondent)-Imran Khan’s sister, Naureen Niazi, has spoken out about her brother’s concerns regarding his treatment in jail and the recent bail granted to his sisters, Aleema and Uzma. According to Naureen, Imran Khan questioned whether a deal was made after his sisters’ release, as no one had been released from custody until now ¹.
Naureen expressed concerns about Imran Khan’s living conditions in jail, stating that he is not receiving the facilities he deserves as a former prime minister. She alleged that he has been deprived of basic amenities such as newspapers, television, and even a shaving kit. Instead, he is provided with food from a communal kitchen and is confined to his room with no permission to leave.
A faith healer who has rarely been seen in public, Bibi wedded Khan shortly before he was elected in 2018 after becoming his spiritual guide.
She was arrested on January 31 – one week before Pakistan went to the polls. The charges against her in the illegal marriage case sparked uproar both among PTI supporters and wider society.
In the recent past, many PTI leaders, including Raoof Hassan, have claimed that the former prime minister has been offered deals to avoid the anti-government stance and leave the country. But they have never mentioned who offered the deal.
