Imran Khan Seeks Early Hearing of Bail Application Before Eid
Islamabad – Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court requesting an expedited hearing for his bail application in the £190 million case.
In the petition, Khan stated that his bail hearing was initially scheduled for March 24, but his lead counsel was engaged in a murder case at the Supreme Court.
The petition urges that Khan’s bail application be heard alongside the main appeal before Eid. The petition also named the federal government and the Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) as respondents.
