Imran Khan and Qureshi bashed government for POL price hike

Lahore: (Staff Reporter) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan and Vice President Shah Mahmood Qureshi bashed the federal government regarding the latest hike in petroleum products prices to a significant level. As per the announcement of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the new price of petrol will be Rs.249.80 while that of diesel Rs.262.80. The price of light diesel has also been increased by Rs.18 to Rs.187 per litre whereas the price of kerosene oil has also been increased by Rs.18 to Rs.189.83 per litre.
According to the twitter, Imran Khan said “Total mismanagement of our economy by a corrupt & incompetent imported government has crushed masses & salaried class with latest hike in petrol & diesel prices & Rs.33. Dollar devaluation to Rs.262.6/$. Electricity & gas price hike & 35% unprecedented inflation expected with Rs.200 billion mini budget.”
As per details Shah Mahmood Qureshi schooled the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) government, saying, “The country was already facing severe economic challenges. The masses had to face more economic burden.”
Furthermore the public is literally crushed under the prices of basic necessities like petroleum products. The prices of petrol and diesel have been increased by Rs.35 per litre. Moreover, the new prices were implemented with immediate effect.
Moreover continuing to take a dig at the coalition government. Mr. Qureshi said, “For how long, the masses bear the incompetence of the rulers. Will the stakeholders continue to wait for further economic woes?”
