ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): The Islamabad High Court on Tuesday restored interim bail for Dr Fazeela Abbasi, a prominent dermatologist and sister of actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, in a high-profile money laundering case.
Justice Muhammad Azam Khan granted bail against a surety bond of Rs100,000 and directed the accused to approach the trial court for further proceedings.
Dr Abbasi appeared before the court along with her counsel Naeem Bukhari, who informed the bench that she had attended three previous hearings and missed one due to medical reasons, for which a certificate had been submitted. Her interim bail had earlier been cancelled following the absence.

Authorities have stated that the sources of these funds remain unclear and are under investigation.
Amid the controversy, Hamza Ali Abbasi publicly distanced himself from the case, stating that he should not be linked to the investigation. He maintained that while he stands by his sister as a family member, he has no involvement in her legal or professional matters.
