IESCO Cancels Leaves, Enhances Readiness Amid Security Situation

Islamabad:In response to the ongoing security challenges in the country, the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has pledged its full support to the Pakistan Army and law enforcement agencies. Muhammad Naeem Jan, the Chief Executive of IESCO, emphasized that the company’s officers and staff are united in ensuring the continuity of power supply during these critical times.

In a statement, Naeem Jan confirmed that all leaves of IESCO officers and staff have been cancelled, with a clear directive to remain vigilant and prepared for any emergency situation. Operational readiness has been heightened across all IESCO directorates, and 132KV grid stations in the IESCO region, as well as Azad Kashmir, are being monitored 24/7 from the Central Control Room in Islamabad.

Additionally, operational and construction teams have been instructed to ensure quick responses and immediate rectification of any urgent power-related issues. IESCO remains committed to its duty of maintaining a stable power supply for the public while fully supporting national security efforts.
