IESCO CEO Vows Uninterrupted Power During Ramadan

IESCO Sets Up Monitoring System for Smooth Ramadan Power Supply

Islamabad: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply during the holy month of Ramadan, particularly at the times of Sehr and Iftar.

Chief Executive Officer IESCO, Engineer Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood, stated that the company will make every possible effort to provide continuous power so that consumers can perform their religious obligations and daily activities with ease.

On the directives of the Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Energy (Power Division), and Chairman IESCO Dr. Tahir Masood, a Central Control and Monitoring Room has been established in Islamabad for 24/7 monitoring of electricity transmission. Senior officers and staff will supervise power supply across 127 grid stations and more than 1,200 11kV feeders to ensure prompt resolution of any system faults.

Monitoring rooms have also been set up at the Circle, Division, and Sub-Division levels. Complaint offices will remain fully operational, and additional materials have been provided to field formations to swiftly address technical issues.

The IESCO Chief Executive said he will personally remain in contact with field formations via video link during Sehr and Iftar hours to ensure smooth operations throughout Ramadan. Consumers can register complaints by contacting their respective complaint offices, calling the IESCO Helpline at 118, or reaching the Complaint and Monitoring Cell at 051-9252933-34.
