ICC Launches Technology-Driven Campaign for T20 World Cup 2026

COLOMBO: (Web Desk) – International Cricket Council has launched a wide-ranging global campaign to make the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 the most accessible cricket event ever, using advanced digital technology and enhanced fan engagement initiatives worldwide.

According to the ICC, all tournament matches are being streamed across more than 80 regions through ICC.tv on the official website and mobile application. In a first for the tournament, selected matches are also being broadcast live on YouTube, including the high-profile Group A clash between Pakistan and India in Colombo, with commentary available in Japanese and Bahasa.

ICC.tv is providing multilingual commentary in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Nepali, while in India, broadcast partner JioStar is airing matches in several regional languages. Global radio coverage is being produced by the British Broadcasting Corporation and is accessible worldwide via the ICC app.

The ICC has also introduced innovative fan-centric features such as the Creator Club and Match Insights, enabling audiences to engage with real-time data and deeper match analysis throughout the tournament.

To further enhance the fan experience, dedicated fan parks have been set up across multiple countries. In India, live screenings are being held in collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy and PVR Inox cinemas. In Sri Lanka, fan engagement activities are being rolled out with Dialog and Budweiser, while in the UAE, STARZPLAY is running promotional campaigns in Dubai.

Additionally, Coca-Cola has established a fan park in Kathmandu, while in Pakistan, digital partner Tapmad is hosting fan parks in Karachi and Lahore. The ICC says these initiatives aim to ensure unmatched global reach, inclusivity, and fan participation throughout the tournament.
