ICC Releases Updated ODI Player Rankings
Mitchell Santner of New Zealand has improved by one spot and is now ranked fourth
Dubai – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ODI player rankings.
According to the ICC rankings, India’s Shubman Gill remains in the top spot among ODI batsmen, while Pakistan’s Babar Azam holds the second position. India’s Rohit Sharma has moved up two places to claim the third spot.
South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen sits at fourth, and India’s Virat Kohli is ranked fifth.
In the ODI bowlers’ rankings, Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana has climbed to the top position. New Zealand’s captain Mitchell Santner, following his excellent performances, has moved up from sixth to second place.
Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav has risen three places to third, while South Africa’s Keshav Maharaj and Namibia’s Bernard Scholtz are ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. Pakistan’s fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi is ranked ninth.
In the all-rounder category, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai remains at the top, followed by his countryman Mohammad Nabi in second place. Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza holds the third spot.
