ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Pakistan has agreed to play against India in the T20 World Cup.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) said discussions with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were part of a broader communication process, with both sides committed to acting in the best interest of the game.
The ICC made it clear that all member nations will honour their commitments to ICC events and take all necessary steps to ensure the success of the T20 World Cup.

In its statement, the ICC said all members will jointly make every possible effort to make the tournament a success.
The ICC also reiterated its commitment to continue supporting the development of Bangladesh’s cricket market of more than 200 million people.
The statement added that even in the event of non-participation in the T20 World Cup, it will not be allowed to have a long-term negative impact on Bangladesh cricket.
