ICC Delegation Arrives to Address Pakistan-India T20 Boycott

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – An International Cricket Council (ICC) delegation is set to arrive in Lahore today to address Pakistan’s decision to boycott its T20 World Cup match against India. The delegation, led by the ICC Deputy Chairman, will hold a key meeting with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam, who has also arrived in Lahore.

Sources indicate that the discussions will focus on the fallout from Pakistan’s decision and explore possible resolutions. The ICC delegation is expected to arrive from Colombo at 4:30 pm and will return after the meeting later in the day. Pakistan has confirmed its participation in the tournament but remains firm on not playing the India match on February 15, citing concerns over the ICC’s decision regarding Bangladesh, with the Pakistani government seeking to demonstrate solidarity with its neighbor.
