ICC Considers Moving Major Events from India
ICC May Shift 2029 Champions Trophy, 2031 ODI World Cup
Dubai: (Web Desk) – The International Cricket Council (ICC) is reportedly exploring the possibility of relocating several major cricket events from India to Australia amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan.
Australian media reports suggest that the 2029 ICC Champions Trophy and the 2031 ICC ODI World Cup could be moved to Australia, which has a strong recent record of successfully hosting major ICC events.
The potential shift aligns with an existing agreement between the cricket boards of India and Pakistan to hold future matches between the two countries at neutral venues for safety and security reasons.
