Hot weather to prevail across the country on Friday

Going area by area, in Islamabad, the weather will remain hot and dry in the city and surrounding areas.

Islamabad: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts that on Friday, the weather will be hot and dry in most parts of the country, while the central and southern regions will be hot, windy, and dusty.

However, in the evening and night, there is a chance of partly cloudy conditions with sporadic rain with thunder and lightning at some places, including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, North and Central Balochistan, Upper Punjab, Islamabad, and Kashmir.

Going area by area, in Islamabad, the weather will remain hot and dry in the city and surrounding areas. However, strong and gusty winds and thundershowers are likely in the evening and night.

In Punjab, hot and dry weather is expected in most districts of the province, with strong and dusty winds likely to prevail in central and southern regions. In the evening and night, there may be wind and thunderstorms in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, Khushab, Bhakkar, and Nurpur Thal. Murree, Galiyat, and surrounding areas are expected to be partly cloudy with gusty winds and thundershowers during the evening and night.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the weather will remain hot and dry in most districts. However, it will be partly cloudy in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Abbottabad, Balakot, Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, Battagram, Malakand, Peshawar, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, Orakzai, and Waziristan, with a possibility of gusty winds and thundershowers at a few places.

In Sindh, the weather will remain very hot and dry in most districts, with the possibility of dusty winds.

In Balochistan, the weather will remain hot and dry in most districts. However, there is a possibility of strong winds and thundershowers at a few places in Chagai, Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Zhob, Sherani, Musakhel, and Mastung.

In Kashmir, partly cloudy conditions are expected, with gusty winds and thundershowers at a few places.

In Gilgit-Baltistan, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with strong winds and thundershowers at a few places.
