Hot and dry weather in central southern parts during next twelve hours

Islamabad: (Staff Reporter) Mainly dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country, while hot in central and southern parts during the next twelve hours.

However, rain-thunderstorm is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Punjab, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir.

Temperatures of some major cities recorded this morning:

Islamabad: Twenty-two degree centigrade

Lahore and Karachi: Twenty-seven degree centigrade

Peshawar: Twenty-four degree centigrade

Quetta: Fifteen degree centigrade

Gilgit: Fourteen degree centigrade

Murree: Sixteen degree centigrade

Muzaffarabad: Nineteen degree centigrade

Srinagar and Pulwama: Sixteen degree centigrade

Jammu: Twenty-five degree centigrade

Leh: Six degree centigrade

Anantnag and Baramulla: Fifteen degree centigrade

Shopian: Fourteen degree centigrade

According to Met Office forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain-wind and thundershower is expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla, while Partly cloudy with chances of rain-thundershower in Leh.
