The Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) has released the full schedule for the eight-team event, which will now see Bangladesh and Kazakhstan replacing Pakistan and Oman, who were initially expected to participate.

The teams have been split into two groups:

  • Group A: India, Japan, China, Kazakhstan

  • Group B: Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Chinese Taipei

The Hockey Asia Cup is not only a prestigious regional tournament but also serves as a qualifying event for the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026, which will be hosted by Belgium and the Netherlands.

The tournament promises high-intensity matches as teams compete for regional supremacy and a chance to secure their place in the upcoming World Cup.
