PCB to Earn Revenue from Hosting ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is set to receive $6 million (approximately Rs. 1.68 billion) in hosting rights for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, according to a report by a media.

The PCB has already invested heavily in upgrading cricket infrastructure across the country. A staggering Rs. 14 billion has been spent on the construction and renovation of stadiums to ensure they meet international standards for the Champions Trophy. This includes improvements in facilities, security measures, and overall stadium aesthetics to provide a world-class experience for players and fans alike.

In addition to the hosting rights fee, the PCB will also earn revenue from gate money for the ten matches in Pakistan during the tournament.  For matches that will be played in Dubai, Pakistan will receive a share of the revenue generated from those games. While the exact percentage of this share has not been disclosed, it is expected to contribute significantly to the PCB’s overall earnings from the event.
