HEC Announces Fully Funded PhD Scholarships in Top US Universities
The initiative aims to strengthen Pakistan’s academic and research capacity by providing access to world-class education for talented scholars.
ISLAMABAD: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced fully funded PhD scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students to study at top-ranked universities in the United States, under the Pak-US Knowledge Corridor initiative, here on Thursday.

As part of the program, students will be able to pursue higher education in up to 300 of the best American universities.
According to HEC, the last date to apply for the Spring 2026 intake is November 15, 2025, and applications must be submitted through the official HEC website.
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be citizens of Pakistan or Azad Jammu & Kashmir,
- Have completed at least 16 years of education.
The scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fees,
- Monthly living stipend,
- Medical insurance, and
- Return airfare.
