HDF & Students of ICT Universities and Colleges Unite to Mark World No Tobacco Day 2025

The initiative aimed to highlight the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine consumption

Islamabad – The Human Development Foundation (HDF), in collaboration with students from universities and colleges in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), organized a vibrant awareness campaign to observe World No Tobacco Day 2025 on May 31. The initiative aimed to highlight the harmful effects of tobacco and nicotine consumption, engaging youth in spreading the message for a tobacco-free future.

Students from various ICT universities and colleges participated in a series of awareness activities, visiting iconic locations in Islamabad including Faisal Mosque, Lake View Park, and Pakistan Monument Park. During these visits, the students held placards with powerful messages against tobacco use, encouraging the public to make healthier choices for themselves and their families.

This engaging initiative not only educated the public on the health risks associated with tobacco and nicotine but also inspired community dialogue on the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.
