Hassan Nasrallah’s Final Message Revealed Before His Death

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah shared his last message on his social media account on X before being killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut. In his final post, he expressed a sense of foreboding, stating, “I may not stay among you for a long time. Procedures have been devised so that we are prepared.” Hezbollah confirmed his death on Saturday and pledged to persist in their struggle against Israel.

Israel had previously announced that it was responsible for the airstrike that took place in Beirut’s southern suburbs, marking a significant blow to Hezbollah as it grapples with intensifying Israeli attacks. Following airstrikes in Gaza and Lebanon, Nasrallah had vowed to “punish” Israel and defeat the government led by Benjamin Netanyahu.

The attack on Friday rocked the Dahiyeh neighborhood, leaving a crater estimated to be at least 20 meters deep, according to a Lebanese security source. In the aftermath, thousands of residents evacuated the area, seeking refuge in public squares, parks, and along the coast.

Reflecting on the legacy of past leaders, Nasrallah once said after the assassination of Secretary General Sayyed Abbas Mussawi in 1992 that “their aim was to crush our spirit of resistance.” He reiterated in his final address that even in the face of destruction, Hezbollah would never forsake the path of Islamic resistance.
