Pacer loses his cool after fan ‘disrespected’ him, family
USA(Web Desk) ; Haris Rauf, whose video has taken rounds on social media platforms, taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, responded and said he had decided not to bring this on social media, but now that the video was out, he felt necessary to address the situation.
“As public figures, we are open to receiving all kinds of feedback from the public. They are entitled to support or criticize us,” Haris Rauf said.
The pacer said: “Nevertheless when it comes to my parent and my family, I will not hesitate to respond accordingly. It is important to show respect towards people and their families, irrespective of their professions.”

A video showing Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf nearly getting into a fight with fans in the USA went viral on social media on Tuesday.
This incident happened after Pakistan’s disappointing group-stage exit from the 2024 T20 World Cup, following losses to co-hosts the USA and rivals India.
In the clip shared on X (formerly known as Twitter), Haris is seen walking with his wife when some fans approach him. Though the exact words exchanged aren’t clear, Haris appears to lose his temper and charges towards the fans. His wife tries to hold him back, but Haris runs towards the fans and nearly starts a fight before being stopped by one of them.
Later, taking to X, Haris Rauf talked about a viral video showing a confrontation involving him and some unidentified men.
Rauf said, “As public figures, we accept all kinds of feedback from the public. People have the right to support or criticize us. However, if my family is targeted, I will respond appropriately. It is important to respect people and their families, no matter what their profession is.”
