Youth Are Our Future, Sports Culture Key to Healthy Nation: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination, Rana Sanaullah, has announced that the government is committed to promoting sports culture and providing equal opportunities for youth across the country. He said the sports complexes are now open to students from government schools, as the government works to develop sports under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

He expressed these views while addressing a ceremony held at the Pakistan Sports Complex in Islamabad, where the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination distributed sports kits to students of public schools. The event was attended by Federal Secretary IPC Mohiuddin Wani, Director General of Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) Yasir Pirzada, Parliamentary Secretary for Education Farah Naz Akbar, MNA Anjum Aqeel, and other officials.

Rana Sanaullah emphasized that youth are the bright future of the nation and that the government is striving to promote a positive and healthy society. “We are dedicated to providing all possible resources to our young people,” he stated. “Together, we must promote a culture of sports and build a healthy nation.”

Speaking at the event, DG PSB Yasir Pirzada announced that 25,000 sports kits, including track suits, will be distributed to students of public schools. He also stated that students will be allowed to participate in the sport of their choice and will be provided with professional coaches through the Pakistan Sports Board.

The initiative aims to encourage youth participation in physical activities and ensure inclusive access to sports facilities, regardless of socio-economic background.
