Govt makes strategy to use army to stop PTI’s long march
Decides to take strict action against individuals, organizations providing logistical, financial support to Long March
Islamabad;(Staff Reporter) The federal government Tuesday formulated a decisive strategy to stop the expected long march of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) toward Islamabad.
To stop the participants of the long march to enter Islamabad, the government has decided to use Pakistan Army and hand over Red Zone to it.
The government has decided that the Long March will not be allowed to enter Islamabad under any circumstances.
The security of government buildings and diplomatic enclaves located in the red zone will be handed over to the Pakistan Army while services of Sindh Police, Rangers and FC will also be taken along with Islamabad Police.
As per the report, there will be a ban on carrying any firearm in the city as well as a strict action will be taken against individuals and organizations who will provide logistical and financial support to the Long March
