ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Google has rolled out a new artificial intelligence-powered 3D feature for Google Maps, aimed at making travel and navigation more intuitive for users.
The upgrade allows drivers to view routes in enhanced 3D visuals, helping them better understand road layouts, highways, and potential obstacles along the way.

In addition, Google has introduced the “Ask Maps” feature, which enables users to interact with the app in a conversational manner. This tool can suggest less congested routes, plan trips with multiple stops, and provide detailed travel insights.
The company said these features are designed to improve efficiency and save time, while also helping users discover nearby attractions, landmarks, and restaurants more easily.
According to Google, the system draws on data from around 300 million locations worldwide and over 500 million user reviews, ensuring more accurate and personalized results.
A senior executive at Google Maps described the update as a major step forward, noting that the platform will now adapt more closely to individual user needs and make real-world navigation faster and more seamless.
