ISLAMABAD: Google is expanding its image-generation tool Nano Banana with a major update called Nano Banana Pro, officially known as Gemini 3 Pro Image. The upgraded version began rolling out on November 20 and brings improvements to the way the AI creates visuals and handles text inside images.

Better Images

According to Google, Nano Banana Pro is built on the Gemini 3 Pro model and is designed to produce visuals that carry more meaningful information. The goal is to help users who want images that explain or illustrate something clearly, such as diagrams or detailed infographics.

The system also analyzes facts provided by the user and enhances how those details appear in generated images. Nano Banana Pro can now work with Google Search as well, allowing it to pull recipe information or related photos and combine them into an image when requested

Clearer Text Inside Images

Google says it has improved how the AI generates readable text inside photos. Users should now see clearer text in calligraphy, textured fonts, and stylized writing, with expanded support for multiple languages.

The Pro version also improves consistency when merging multiple images. Users can upload up to 14 photos and let the model blend them into one final visual. The addition of new “creative controls” lets users adjust angles, change the focus, and fine-tune other elements of the image.

Google notes that while Nano Banana Pro is designed for more advanced and detailed image creation, the original Nano Banana remains available for quick and simple image generation.
