Startups Launches AI Academy to Accelerate AI Innovation in Pakistan and APAC,
Karachi(Staff Reporter);Google for Startups Unveils AI Academy to Boost Pakistan’s AI Ecosystem, Google for Startups has announced the launch of AI Academy, a new program designed to support and accelerate the growth of AI startups in Pakistan and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The program aims to bring together over 20 startups developing AI-based technologies, fostering a vibrant AI community, and igniting cross-border innovation and partnerships.
Three-month program designed to help startups leverage Google’s latest AI technologies and accelerate their business growth,
Eligibility Criteria:
– Startups must be based in the Greater China Region, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan, or Singapore.
– Startups must be at the seed to series A stage.
– Startups must have at least one technical startup leader (CTO/CIO, Engineering Lead) dedicated to attending the program.
– Startups must be fluent in English.
– Startups with plans of global expansion are preferred.
Application Timeline:
– Applications opened on July 29, 2024.
– Application deadline is August 16, 2024.
– Startup interviews will take place from August 26 to September 6, 2024.
– Cohort announcement will be in mid-September 2024.
– Bootcamp in Singapore will take place from October 15 to 17, 2024.
– Graduation will be in December 2024.
Selected startups will receive:
– Tailored mentorship from Google’s AI experts
– Up to $350,000 in Google Cloud credits
– Opportunities to connect and collaborate with other AI startups across APAC
AI Academy is designed to fast-track startups to market by enabling them to build a “proof of concept” and product roadmap, rapidly validating and enhancing their AI solutions. By applying Google Cloud tools to their own data, startups can develop a product roadmap for clear and immediate integration into their existing products.
