Gold Prices Reach Record High in Pakistan Amid Global Market Surge

After a sharp rise the previous day, gold prices in Pakistan continued to soar to an all-time high with another increase on Thursday, mirroring the upward trend in global markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs700 per tola, reaching Rs277,900.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold saw an increase of Rs600, bringing it to Rs238,254. On the global stage, gold prices also experienced an uptick, with rates rising by $7 during the day, pushing the international price to $2,682 per ounce, as per APGJSA.
In contrast, the silver market remained steady, with the price of silver holding at Rs3,050 per tola.

Last month, gold prices in Pakistan had hit a previous record of Rs277,000 per tola, driven by significant fluctuations in international markets.
