Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant surge on Wednesday.
Pakistan(Staff Reporter): Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant surge. According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,200, reaching Rs253,500.
Similarly, the local market saw the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rise by Rs1,029, bringing it to Rs217,335. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also went up, reaching Rs199,224.
Gold Price Reaches Record High in Pakistan
In the international market, gold prices also saw a substantial increase, with the rate per ounce climbing to $2,415, despite a $27 decrease during the day.
Additionally, the price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs40, reaching Rs2,900.
