Gold Prices in Pakistan Decline After Significant Surge
Following a substantial increase, gold prices in Pakistan saw a slight decrease on Monday, aligning with global market trends.
In the local market, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs900, bringing it down to Rs283,400, as reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs771, resulting in a new price of Rs242,970.
In the international market, gold also experienced a decline, with prices decreasing by $9 on Monday to reach $2,739 per ounce, plus an additional premium of $20.
In contrast, silver prices remained stable in the local market at Rs3,350 per tola, showing no impact from the fluctuations in gold prices.
