Gallup International Survey Reveals Growing Global Disapproval of Netanyahu

GAZA: (Web Desk) – A new global survey conducted by the Gallup International Association has found that 61 percent of respondents across 58 countries hold an unfavorable opinion of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The findings show a significant shift in international public sentiment, with negative views of Netanyahu rising by 20 percent compared to 2019. The survey gathered responses from citizens in the United States, Europe, and various other regions.

According to the poll, many respondents expressed criticism of the Israeli government’s policies, particularly in relation to Palestinians. Humanitarian concerns and the ongoing regional conflict were cited as major factors influencing negative perceptions.

Iran recorded the highest level of disapproval, with 98 percent of participants expressing an unfavorable opinion. Several European countries also reported considerable dissatisfaction.

In the United Kingdom, 52 percent of respondents indicated disapproval, while 42 percent in the United States expressed negative views. In Pakistan, 49 percent of participants described Netanyahu as the most disliked global personality.

However, the survey revealed relatively stronger support for Netanyahu in some countries. In Azerbaijan and Kenya, 58 percent of respondents held favorable views, while in India, half of those surveyed expressed support for the Israeli leader.

The results underscore widening global divisions in public opinion regarding Netanyahu’s leadership and policies.
