Protests Against Trump and Musk Held in Multiple Cities

WASHINGTON: Protests under the banner of “Hands Off” have erupted across the United States and various other countries, opposing the policies of former U.S. President Donald Trump and his advisor Elon Musk. Demonstrations were held in 50 states across the U.S., with over 1,200 protests taking place in countries including Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Portugal, and Mexico.

The protests saw participation from civil rights organizations, labor unions, and other groups, voicing their concerns over several issues. Demonstrators expressed dissatisfaction with the government’s immigration policies, trade tariffs, cuts to education budgets, and the elimination of over 200,000 federal jobs.

Protesters chanted slogans against Trump and Musk, demanding the restoration of true democracy in the U.S. and the reversal of what they described as anti-people policies. They stated that the policies being pursued by Trump were a danger to the world and called for Elon Musk’s deportation, asserting that “there is no king in America.”R
