German Cyclist Robbed in Islamabad Gets His Bicycle Back After Police Act Fast

Islamabad – (Web Desk) – A German traveler cycling around the world had his belongings stolen shortly after reaching Islamabad. The incident happened near the Islamabad Expressway in the Khanna police station area where Philip Sam had pitched his tent for the night. While he was asleep thieves took his bicycle and camera and quietly disappeared into the dark.

The German embassy found out about the robbery and wasted no time. They called local authorities right away and pushed for quick action. Islamabad Police responded fast and managed to track down and recover his stolen items.

It was a scary experience for a solo traveler far from home. But thankfully the story had a good ending thanks to a speedy police response.

Following the embassy’s intervention, police teams rushed to the scene and launched an investigation. The Investigation Wing successfully recovered the stolen bicycle and camera from the Orchard Scheme area.

Police confirmed that the accused has been taken into custody and shifted to Khanna police station, where further investigation is underway.
