Rawalpindi: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC), graced the opening session of the Seminar organized by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States, hosted by Pakistan. The seminar focused on the theme of “Challenges in Military Medicines”.
During his address, General Mirza emphasized the importance of addressing new and complex healthcare challenges, pandemics, and humanitarian crises through collective preparedness and response strategies. He highlighted the necessity of strengthening multilateral collaboration among SCO nations, particularly in the field of military medicines.
General Mirza reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to its partnership with the SCO, stressing the nation’s pride in this collaboration. He expressed gratitude to the SCO for providing a platform for dialogue and cooperation and appreciated the wholehearted attendance of delegates from partner countries.
