GB Chief Justice Disposes 12 Cases Single-Handedly

Single-Judge Bench Clears Cases in GB Appellate Court

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Chief Justice of the Supreme Appellate Court Gilgit-Baltistan, Sardar Muhammad Shameem Khan, presided over multiple cases during a four-day hearing session from March 30 to April 2 in Gilgit.

During this period, the Chief Justice decided 12 cases spanning criminal, civil, and service matters. Several new appeals were also filed, with notices issued to the relevant parties for further proceedings.

Although the court typically operates with a three-member bench, it is currently functioning with only the Chief Justice, who is handling the caseload single-handedly. Despite this, the court continues its efforts to ensure timely and cost-effective justice for the public.
