Gas heater explosion injures six students at Abbottabad School

Abbottabad: A gas heater explosion at Government Primary School No. 4 in Abbottabad left six students injured. The explosion occurred when a malfunctioning gas heater caused the blast in a classroom.

Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly, providing first aid at the scene before transporting the injured students to the hospital for further treatment. The students, identified as Sufyan, Maawyah, Ashar, Imam Hussain, Umair, and Fareed, were reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the explosion and are taking steps to prevent such incidents in the future, ensuring the safety of students.

In a related incident, an explosion near Jalala Bridge in Mardan on Friday claimed the lives of at least two people and left eight others, including police officers, women, and children, injured. Additionally, earlier this year, gas explosions in Rawalpindi claimed the lives of two children and caused severe burns to at least eight others.
