Fuel Prices Likely to Soar Again: Petrol to Rise by Rs 7.67 from July 16
ISLAMABAD: Petrol and diesel prices are likely to increase once more starting July 16, 2024. The price hike will see petrol rise by Rs 7.67 per liter, bringing the new price to Rs 273.28, while diesel will increase by Rs 3.72, reaching Rs 281.17 per liter.
This marks another blow to citizens, who will feel the pinch as the government implements this increase following a previous adjustment on July 1, 2024. Additionally, kerosene prices are projected to rise by Rs 2.73, with the new price anticipated at Rs 184.25, and light diesel oil (LDO) is set to increase by Rs 0.92, bringing it to Rs 166.65 per liter.
