Friendly Cricket Match Strengthens Bonds Between IESCO and CDA

Islamabad: A friendly cricket match between Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) took place at the National Cricket Ground, F-7 Islamabad. The event was organized under the guidance of Chief Executive IESCO, Engineer Ch. Khalid Mahmood, and Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa.

The match saw enthusiastic participation from officers and staff of both organizations. Players displayed remarkable performance, discipline, and sportsmanship, making the event both entertaining and memorable.

Speaking at the occasion, Engineer Ch. Khalid Mahmood said the match was more than just a sporting activity. “It reflects teamwork, sportsmanship, and strong inter-institutional relations. Positive engagements like these create a pleasant working environment and strengthen cooperation between institutions,” he added.

Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, who opened the batting for CDA, emphasized the importance of sports in professional life. The match was attended by IESCO General Manager Technical Muhammad Naeem Jan, IESCO Board Members Syed Ali Murtaza and Rana Abdul Sattar, Chief Financial Officer Raees Haider, Chief Engineer (Development) Kamran Aftab, Chief Engineer (Planning) Ejaz Makhdoom, and other senior and field officers.

Both organizations were appreciated for arranging the event, and officials expressed hope that such healthy and team-building activities would continue in the future.
